About Morgan Men’s Health

At Morgan Men’s Health, our mission is simple: to provide clear, compassionate, evidence-based care for men at every stage of life. We help men understand their health, feel confident in their decisions, and receive support that respects their privacy, dignity, and time.

Based in Eugene and serving communities throughout Western Oregon, we offer comprehensive care for men’s reproductive, hormonal, and urologic health — blending traditional medical expertise with integrative, whole-person support.

Private. Same-week appointments available. Insurance and cash accepted. Veteran discounts. No referral needed.

Our Philosophy of Care

Many men delay seeking care because they’re unsure where to start, feel embarrassed, or don’t want to be rushed through an appointment. My approach is different.

I take time to listen, to explain things simply, and to create a calm, grounded environment where you can talk openly about whatever’s going on — erectile dysfunction, hormonal changes, urinary issues, prostate concerns, or if you’re considering a vasectomy.

Every visit is:

  • Private

  • Respectful

  • Direct and easy to understand

  • Centered on your goals

  • Free of pressure or judgment

My training is both integrative and investigative. In addition to being an Integrative Board-Certified Urologist, I am also a Reiki Master and life coach. Having a wider set of tools allows me to support healing from multiple angles — physical, hormonal, emotional, and energetic. Nothing is more rewarding than watching my patients rise to their potential. I am here for you and will stand by you one hundred percent of the way.

My Educational Journey

My path to medicine was anything but linear. I began at BYU studying zoology, fully intending to become a neuroscience researcher. Along the way I fell in love with languages — Swedish and Danish — which led to research opportunities at the University of Gothenburg and a two-year fellowship at the University of Copenhagen.

From there, I continued neuroscience research at the National Institutes of Health before beginning a PhD program at Yale. A summer in Kenya with Planned Parenthood changed everything. Watching the daily challenges people faced made me realize that helping one person heal — whether from malaria or prostate cancer — meant more to me than academic publications. So I applied to medical school and left the lab behind.

My Career Evolution

Patients often ask, “Why urology?” I used to laugh — it is a wonderfully quirky field. All I knew in medical school was that I wanted to be a surgeon and I wanted to be happy. I didn’t find that in neurosurgery. But everywhere I went, the urologists were the happiest surgeons. Now I understand why: incredible patients, meaningful conversations, and just the right mix of surgery and medicine. And honestly? The urinary tract and male reproductive system are amazing.

After completing a six-year surgical residency at Stanford, I spent the next decade and a half in a high-volume Bay Area practice performing complex surgeries. I loved my work, but long hours eventually led to burnout — a familiar story for many surgeons. It was time for a change.

I packed my bags, moved to Oregon, and built a urology program at the Eugene VA. The moment I crossed the state line, I knew I was home.

What Drives Me

I am passionate about men’s health. Over 25 years of caring for men has shown me that many health concerns stem from dis-ease — a system out of balance. Stress, hormones, lifestyle, relationships, and physical health all interact in ways that aren’t always obvious from the outside.

My integrative approach honors this complexity. I look beyond symptoms to the whole system. I believe in honest conversations, unhurried appointments, and explanations that make sense.

Outside of work, I love medical missions, international travel, running, nonfiction writing, and learning new recipes. The highlight of my life is my teenage daughter, Maddie. Tell me about your favorite place you’ve traveled — or your favorite teenager story (holy moly, I have plenty).
